Cringletie House is a country house hotel/restaurant and its castle type baronial mansion is set in tranquil and rural countryside. The accessible room room (called Traquair) is on the ground floor. The "key" is a specifically designed electronic key that guests can wave in front of a sensor at wheelchair height. This opens the door automatically which after a short while closes automatically. The reclining easy chairs in the room are also electrically adjustable.
